Forestry Certificate Courses & Contractor Training in Waikato & Bay of Plenty

At Silvipath, we specialise in delivering forestry certificate programs and contractor training across Waikato and Bay of Plenty. Whether you're an individual looking to upskill, a plotting contractor, or managing a forestry crew in need of training, we provide practical, certified short courses to suit your needs.

We offer forestry certificates in key operational areas like planting, pruning, thin to waste, and forestry plotting—all designed to keep your crews competent, safe, and industry-compliant. We also offer training in Agriculture and Horticulture, with options to train at one of our approved sites or directly on your worksite.

Forestry Certificate Courses – Practical, Flexible & NZQA-Aligned

Forestry Sector Training

Silvipath’s forestry contractor courses are tailored for real-world forestry operations. We focus on delivering hands-on learning supported by NZQA-aligned outcomes. Some contractors seek stand alone unit standards, others want employees to work through training plans specific to their operations. Silvipath caters to both needs. Upon successful completion, participants receive recognised forestry certificates through Competenz to help them advance their careers or meet job requirements.

Whether you’re developing new recruits or upskilling existing staff, we help ensure your teams are trained in the essential competencies of the forestry industry.

Certificate Delivery & Enrolment

Each of our forestry certificate courses concludes with a skills assessment. Upon successful completion, trainees receive formal certificates to verify their new competencies. These can be used for employment applications, regulatory compliance, or internal upskilling.

Training is available year-round across the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions, and we can mobilize to contractor sites anywhere in New Zealand with adequate notice.
